KSSN Colagate Country Showdown

We had a great time at the Colgate Country Showdown at the Rev Room Saturday night.  There was a lot of great talent that competed.  I’m sure we’ll be doing shows with a lot of them down the road.  Congrats to the Luke Williams Band for winning!  And thanks for sitting in with us Luke.  It’s always a blast man!

112th Annual Tontitown Grape Festival

We had the opportunity this weekend to play at the Tontitown Grape Festival.  For those of you who don’t know Tontitown is up around the Fayettville/Rogers/Sprindale area.  This apparently was the 112th annual festival, and it was a great time.  For more information on the festival you can go to their website http://tontitowngrapefestival.com/  Also here is a news article you can read with some pics Ryan and the guys http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/295680  Thank you to all the great folks up there and to the festival promoters.  Hopefully we’ll see ya’ll again next year!

Grumpy’s,Fox n Hound, Finley’s Wedding!

We’ve had a busy last few days.  Thursday we had another fun relaxed night at Grumpy’s.  Friday we jammed out with our Marche buddies at Fox and Hound in North Little Rock.  Then we played for our buddy Sam Finley and his new bride Brooke’s wedding.  Congrats again to you two; hope you’re enjoying the honeymoon! 

Juanita’s w/ Matthew Huff

We partied it up at Juanitas again Saturday night.  Thank you all again for coming.  Matthew Huff did a great job starting off the night.  It was the first show we’ve ever done with him, but won’t be the last!  Ya’ll be sure and go check him out at http://www.matthewhuffmusic.com/ We didn’t announce it, but we did record the show, and at the very least we’ll have some youtube videos coming from it and maybe some live tracks for ya’ll to download.  We’ll be sure and announce it as soon as we do so ya’ll keep checking in!

The Breakers of Swan Bay

We went to Tennessee this weekend and played at the Breakers of Swan Bay up by Buchanan and Paris TN, and it was awesome.  Everyone there was very nice, and just a bunch of really good people.  They had a bar/restaurant on the end of a marina (great idea btw) on Kentucky Lake.  Here’s there website if you wanna check it out!  www.thebreakersofswanbay.com/   We definitely hope we’ll be back there soon!  Thanks again guys!

Riverfest w/ Blake Shelton & Jimmy Wayne

Wow we didn’t realize how long it’s been since we’ve blogged!  Sorry guys!  We’ve been runnin’ all over the place.  Where all have we played since thunderbird?!!!!  WOW!!!!  Dentons, Grumpys, Nashville, AR, and of course Riverfest!  All the shows have been great, and we were very excited with Riverfest.  For those of you who didn’t know we got to play Riverfront Ampitheatre Saturday night with Jimmy Wayne and Blake Shelton!  It all went great!  It was a little warm, but it did rain a little on us.  No one seemed to mind at all though.  Afterwards we hung out back stage and watched the rest of the shows.  It was a very unforgettable night!  Thank you to all of you who came.  Keep checking back we’ll be announcing more shows soon!

Thunderbird

Wow! Did we have a hell of a time in Heber Springs at the Thunderbird country club sat. night.   We haven’t been to Heber in a long time and it was great to see so many old friends. both our bass player and steel guitarist were unable to make it, but we still had a blast. hopefully it won’t be too long till I can get back to Cleburne county.  Thank you to the country club for letting us come up there and cause a little hell.

KSSN Homegrown show for St. Jude

So hey the fundraiser for St. Jude was a huge success.  I believe KSSN raised over a hundred grand thru radio and the concert.  I was really happy to see how many people came out to support the cause and come to the show. thank you to everyone who came. We had a blast being able to hang out with all our fans up close and personal.

Superbowl Sunday

So I’m pretty sure i wish i was in New Orleans for Mardi Gras cause i can only imagine how big of a party its gonna be. its all good cause we watched the game at my managers lake house on lake Norrell.  I believe we had enough food for the whole football team with meat that had been on the smoker all day. Of course we drank quite a bit a beer, but its ok.  It was the Superbowl.  I have never won a square bet in my life and Todd my manager got lucky enough to win two.  That’s alright cause when we go to Tunica I will be the lucky one lol!
