Waking up alone lyrics

“Waking up Alone” is one of our story songs, which we hope to do more of in the future. It’s another song we wrote to give people hope especially in their relationships. Sometimes things get rocky and a little break gives you both the insight that it’s just not the same without your “better half” being there.

This morning she woke up and he was gone.

There was a rose on her pillow,

For the day he’ll come back home
She can’t believer the fact that he’s gone,
But she’s getting use to waking up alone.

She cried and cried for days on end.
Wondering what it was,
That she had or hadn’t done.
Wondering if she’d ever see him again.
And the house they built for two,
Was now just left for one…
