Saddled with a brand new CD and a growing calendar full of dates, country rocker Ryan Couron is running full-stride onto the country music scene—and he’s kicking up quite a cloud of dust while he’s doing it.

The southern rock edge the 24-year-old Arkansas-grown singer/songwriter casts on a creative blend of old and new style country has already drawn him a loyal group of fans. Plus, it’s earned one of his songs—“Huntin’ or Fishin’”–radio airplay across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

With impressive credits such as opening for CMA nominee Jake Owen, Ryan is finding himself on stages he never dreamed he’d land on…and he’s loving every minute of it. But when it comes right down to it, he’d just as soon be in the deer woods or on a bass boat as under the spotlight.

“I’m just a country boy who loves to hunt and fish, and so I just write and play pretty much what I am,” he says.
